Finish Line HALO Hot Wax is an immersive bicycle-chain lubricant for riders who want a dry-to-the-touch wax coating and long intervals between applications. This 600 g package is supplied in a reusable boil bag and includes an immersion tool, giving you the core equipment needed to coat a properly prepared chain. The quantity is intended to support approximately 25 chain dips, depending on chain size and application technique.

The formula combines highly refined paraffin, spherical tungsten, and ceramic boron nitride. The paraffin creates a robust coating that repels water and sheds abrasive contaminants. Finish Line uses the tungsten and boron nitride ingredients to reduce friction and help protect drivetrain components from wear. The result is suited to both dry and wet riding conditions.

Before the first application, remove the chain and clean and dry it completely. Melt the pellets by placing the closed HALO bag in gently boiling water, or transfer them to a slow cooker. Secure the chain on the included tool, immerse it in fully melted wax for at least three minutes, then hang it until completely dry—approximately 30 minutes. Flex the links before reinstalling the chain; some excess wax flaking is normal.
