LOOK Keo Classic 3 pedals are an approachable entry into road clipless riding, combining a wide support area with adjustable retention. This black pair uses the LOOK Keo road cleat interface and standard 9/16-inch pedal threads. The design is intended to give riders a stable connection to the bike while allowing the release tension to be tuned as confidence and experience develop.

The composite body and platform surround a chromoly spindle. A 400 mm² contact area and 60 mm platform width support the shoe through the pedal stroke, while the spring retention mechanism can be adjusted from a lighter setting for easier entry and release to a firmer setting as desired. LOOK lists an 8–12 retention range, a 53 mm Q-factor, and a combined pedal-and-cleat stack height of 17.8 mm.

Each pedal weighs approximately 140 g. LOOK reports a pair-plus-cleats weight of approximately 350 g. Keo Grip cleats are the specified cleat type. Confirm that the rider’s shoes accept the appropriate three-bolt road cleat before purchase.

Clipless pedals require practice. Begin with low retention, learn to engage and release while supported, and follow LOOK’s installation and cleat-position instructions. Pedals are left- and right-specific and should be installed with the correct tools and torque.
