LOOK X-TRACK Lateral-Release Cleats

LOOK X-TRACK cleats are compact two-bolt replacement cleats for the LOOK X-TRACK and GEO Trekking pedal families. They also follow the SPD-compatible standard, making them suitable for compatible mountain, gravel, urban, and trekking pedal systems where a recessed two-bolt shoe interface is used.

This standard X-TRACK version uses lateral, unidirectional clip-out. It provides six degrees of angular freedom and a listed disengagement angle of 13 degrees. Standard X-TRACK cleats and the easier-release X-TRACK Easy version have different release behavior, so select the model that matches the rider’s needs. Position the cleats carefully beneath the ball of the foot, tighten both fasteners evenly to specification, and test clipping in and releasing while stationary and supported. Pedal retention tension, when adjustable, should be set conservatively during initial testing. Dirt and walking wear can affect engagement, so clean the interface periodically, check bolt tightness, and replace the cleats when wear causes looseness or inconsistent release.
