Shimano Altus CS-HG31 Cassette - 8-Speed, 11-32T, Black

Shimano Altus CS-HG31 Cassette - 8-Speed, 11-32T, Black is a new, shop-stock drivetrain component for riders and mechanics maintaining 8-speed drivetrains. Compatible with Shimano HG freehub bodies.

Choose cassettes by drivetrain speed, freehub compatibility, and gear range. Confirm that the cassette matches your freehub body type and derailleur capacity before installation.

This product is sold as the package described in the title. Installation requires a cassette tool and chain whip. After installation, verify shifting through all gears under light load and check that the chain runs cleanly without skipping or binding.

If you are unsure whether this item fits your bicycle, bring the bike or existing drivetrain information to Acadiana Bicycle Company. We can confirm compatibility and install the part. Replacing a cassette on a worn chain or chainring may reveal skipping, so checking the full drivetrain at the same time is recommended.
